Oskar Blues Ten FIDY
Affectionately know as Ten W FIDY (10W-50), this imperial stout comes out of the can (yes, I said can) like motor oil. It pours a thick, opaque black with just enough dark tan head. Aromas are thick of coffee, dark chocolate, espesso, smoke, roasted malt, cassis, dark fruit, and liquorice. Flavors are very much the same with a slick, luscious mouthfeel. For being as brawny of a beer as it is, Ten FIDY is gracefully put together and well balanced. Easy to drink for as thick as it is. This a dangerous beer... BEWARE.... Too bad we like that sort of thing.
