Glazen Toren Saison d' Erpe-Mere

Cool Springs Wines and Spirits has new a new beer called Glazen Toren Saison d' Erpe-Mere. Personally, I am excited to see this on the shelf to add to the growing number of Saisons we have available. My appreciation for this specific style has grown over the past few months and I believe it needs more exposure to the general public. Saisons are a farmhouse style ale that was traditionally brewed in the winter, to be consumed throughout the summer months. Saisons are complex but approachable with fruity aromas and flavors as well as some earthy, yeasty notes. Tartness, spices, and bitterness all come through but do not overpower at all. Truly, this style of beer is refreshing and thirst quenching. As some of you know, I discovered Glazen Toren's Canaster Winterscotch Ale a while back and became a believer in what they do. So if the Winterscotch Ale is good, the Glazen Toren Saison d' Erpe-Mere has to be good as well right? RIGHT.
