Left Hand 400 Pound Monkey IPA brewed by Left Hand Brewing Co. in Longmont, Colorado- So here's something a little different. We stock tons of powerful, in-your-face, pale ales with massive IBU's (bitterness), tropical fruit hops, and other not-so-subtle flavors. This beer goes in another direction--subtle, delicate (for a pale ale), and smooth. The bitter hops are there to a point, and the hop aroma is classic citrus and pine, but some of the various complex flavors, like lemongrass and cloves, are a little harder to spot. If you're tired of over-the-top pale ales, this could be your new favorite.
