Sam Adams has released another style in their Imperial Series called Wee Heavy Scottish Ale. Sam Adams pulled inspiration from both traditional Scotch ales and Scotch whisky for a combination of deep roasted flavor and earthy smoke. Traditional Scotch ales vary in intensity so naturally Sam Adams named their brew Wee Heavy for a reason. 10% alcohol balances nicely with the big roasted malt and smoky flavor.
