Brazilian Crush
Ingredients
2 oz Cachaça
4 or 5 kumquats in halves or 5 slices of orange when not in season
Splash of lime juice (if orange is used)
1/2 oz Pomegranate Syrup or Grenadine
Directions
1. Place the fruit, syrup and juice in a cocktail shaker, muddle briskly for 4 to 5 seconds.
2. Add Cachaça and shake with ice. Pour into an old fashioned glass. Garnish with a mint sprig.
Maça Martini
Ingredients
2 oz Cachaça
1/2 oz Elderflower Cordial
1/2 oz fresh pressed lime juice (juice of half lime)
2 1/2 oz apple cider
Garnish: apple slice and mint sprig
Directions
1. Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.
2.
Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with an apple disc and mint sprig.
