Mixology Trends: Recipe Recommendations

Week of October 11 - October 16, 2010
- 1 1/2 oz vodka
- 1/2 oz Cointreau
- 1/4 oz white cranberry juice
Garnish: lime wheel
Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with lime wheel.
- 1 shot St. Germain elderflower liqueur
- 1/2 shot fresh squeezed lemon juice
Garnish: lemon twist
Pour first two ingredients into chilled champagne flute. Top with champagne and garnish with a lemon twist

Spanish Demon Rioja Sangria
2 bottles Spanish Demon Rioja
1 E&J brandy
1/2 cup Dekuyper triple sec
1 cup orange juice
1 cup pomegranate juice
1/2 cup simple syrup, or more to taste (equal parts sugar and water, heated until sugar dissolves, cooled)
Mix all ingredients together and let stand in a tightly sealed container or pitcher for at least 24 hours in the refrigerator before serving.
